   Educational Mission:

  • To educate and nurture students of diverse backgrounds on the engineering fundamentals, economics and hands-on skills of microelectronics integrated circuit (system-on-chip) design & test, hardware security, power management and field application.
   Research Objectives:
  • (A) To design and test analog, mixed-signal and power management integrated circuits, from classical to the state of the art.
  • (B) To investigate and optimize energy & power efficiency vs hardware-software co-design trade-off of embedded electronic systems.
  • (C) To enhance battery-powered Internet of Things (IoT) device clouds with microscale energy harvesting technologies based on solar, thermoelectric, mechanical and  RF (radio frequency) energy.
  • (D) To develop automated, unmanned, secured and self-powered IoT cloud computing infrastructure for sustainable environment research.
